Test your service at the user research labs at Metro Point in Croydon and Vulcan House in Sheffield.

Booking the lab

Email researchservices@digital.homeoffice.gov.uk to book a session at the Croydon or Sheffield labs. You can book for a day or ½ day (4 hours). You should use this email address to cancel or reschedule a session.

You must book your session at least 1 week in advance.

Your team can watch sessions from observation rooms. Croydon has a dedicated observation room, while teams in Sheffield can view from any meeting room.

Lab scheduling tips:

schedule 1 hour sessions
leave 30 minutes between each session to allow for over-runs, research discussions, and time to escort participants to and from the lab
allow 30 minutes before your first session for lab setup
allow 60 minutes after your final session to download the video files
